Best value for the money ever when you can get the sale at 350. Even at 450 it is worth it, can do 7.2, or 5.2.2, works for Dolby Vision and pairs up well with the inexpensive Sony 4k blu ray players like the 700/m or 800m/2. Super simple on the back (unlike my previous onkyo) and has decent Bluetooth for the tablets/phones. Coming back to the Sony's sound modes, the details of what each does are given in a table in the manual. In the version of the manual I have just checked, these details are on page 40.
